Erin Magee has served as the Town of Irondequoit’s Commissioner of Public Works since 2022. In this role, she oversees the Town’s public works operations, infrastructure projects, capital planning, environmental compliance, and emergency response efforts. She has also overseen numerous projects designed to improve water quality and protect the Town’s natural resources.

Before joining the Town, Erin spent ten years with the Monroe County Department of Environmental Services, specializing in industrial wastewater compliance, stormwater management, water-quality monitoring, pollution prevention, and environmental emergency response. She holds a degree in Environmental Science from SUNY Brockport.

Her interest in joining the Genesee RiverWatch Board of Directors reflects her belief that the Genesee River is one of the region’s most important natural assets and that we share a responsibility to promote and protect this vital resource for future generations.
