Wayne D. Howard

Wayne is a Geospatial Information Science (GIS) Analyst/Project Manager and co-owner of Solara Concepts, with background and experience in GIS analysis, nutrient modeling, watershed management, environmental health, office automation and technical training. He’s also a GIS instructor at Monroe Community College (MCC) in the Department of Chemistry and Geosciences. He teaches Geospatial Data Acquisition and Management, Geospatial Programming in Python and Capstone in GIST.

Wayne is a Board Member of the Genesee Finger Lakes GIS/SIG and a member of the NYS GIS Association Education Committee. He’s also an avid reader that enjoys music, choir, cycling, hiking and camping in the Adirondacks.
