I enjoy being outdoors and love being on the water, by the water, and in the water. I have lived on the shore of Lake Ontario for over 30 years, marvel every day at its beauty, and am extremely grateful for my good fortune.
For over 35 years I worked on health, safety, and environmental issues for Eastman Kodak Company. My main area of expertise was in permitting and compliance for wastewater, stormwater, wetlands, and drinking water. In addition, I have been a member of the Monroe County Water Quality Coordinating Committee for over 25 years, where we work to protect and improve water quality around the county.
In 2015 I became a Master Gardener through the Cornell Cooperative Extension – Monroe County. I enjoy working in my own garden and volunteering in the community to promote gardening and environmental stewardship. I also enjoy kayaking, fishing, and swimming – and learned to surf in Hawaii!! (However, I have not joined the Lake Ontario Surfing Club, yet.) Genesee RiverWatch gives me an opportunity to make a difference in promoting the Genesee River so more people can enjoy it like I do. See you on the water!!
