Kristin has been volunteering with Genesee RiverWatch since 2017 and has a long history of volunteering for other environmental organizations.

Kristin volunteered with Wildtracks in Belize, an organization that works to protect and conserve
endangered species and biodiversity through results-oriented action, species and habitat conservation, education and collaborative partnerships.

She volunteered for Merazonia in Ecuador. Merazonia is a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center focusing on rehabilitating wildlife that has fallen victim to the illegal pet trade and deforestation.

Kristen has also volunteered for the Best Friends Animal Society & Animal Haven Shelter in NYC. She is currently on the board for Operation Freedom Ride, a non-profit animal rescue in Rochester, NY.

Kristin is a graduate of the University of Buffalo receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. She is VP of Finance at Turbett Surgical based in Henrietta, NY. Kristin previously worked for ACM Global Laboratories as their Senior Director, Finance – Clinical Trials.
