I have always been passionate and curious about the natural environment. A love of nature was instilled in me by my family; I grew up in a rural, farm-based community outside of Buffalo and I continued learning more about the natural world during my schooling as a geologist and environmental engineer. During my 35+ years in environmental consulting at Haley & Aldrich, I have built a diverse set of skills that I proudly apply to help make things better for people – for my clients and for the greater community.
The skillset that I have gathered over my career includes geology, water chemistry, environmental remediation, people development, process improvement, strategy deployment, and organizational excellence. I am enthusiastic about applying this combination of expertise to help Genesee RiverWatch achieve its mission of improving the water quality and climate resilience of the Genesee River Basin and connecting more people to the River.
I currently live in Brighton, New York with my husband and I have two grown children who live in the Mid-Atlantic region. Together we vacation annually in the natural splendor of the Adirondacks. In addition to being an ardent Buffalo Bills fan, I enjoy the outdoors, technology, wine, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
