Dear Friend of Genesee RiverWatch:

I’m pleased to provide you with our 2025 annual report. In it you will find a summary of all that we did last year, and reminders of the work that remains to be done.

The annual report also summarizes our finances, which in 2025 were typical of many recent years – grant revenue paid for streambank and river access projects; and donations from our individual and institutional supporters paid for our day-to-day activities. Outreach programs such as public paddles and riverbank cleanups were done almost exclusively by volunteers.

This provides me an opportunity to thank each and every one of you for volunteering your time and opening your checkbooks to support Genesee RiverWatch. Without you, we would truly be up the river without a paddle.
